Uncharted 5 Could Happen By Another Studio, According To Creative Director

In a recent interview with Neil Druckmann, creative director of the Uncharted series, the evocation of a fifth episode was made, suggesting that another development studio could do it. Explanations are given below.
While we wait for the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releasing on 10 May 2016 on PlayStation 4, we learn that the series could not be completed by the end of this Ultimate Adventure of Nathan Drake, despite the fact that Naughty Dog has previously stated that it would most likely be their last game for this franchise.
As part of an interview with the website Gamesradar, Neil Druckmann (creative director at Naughty Dog) said that a Uncharted 5 could be considered. However, he said that another development studio might be working on a particular project.
“If they made a great game I’d be excited,” he said, adding that “I’d want to play an Uncharted I didn’t work on. It’d be a lot of fun.”.
Druckmann stressed, however, that if such a project were to be started, Naughty Dog would be a minimum involved, as holder of the franchise: “Obviously, we would have a big part in it as the creators of the franchise. We’d just want to make sure they get the essence of it right.”
The Creative Director concluded by saying that: “if there’s a studio that can do that then great. If not then it’s okay that this is the last one.”
