Ubisoft teases a New Far Cry game

A few hours ago, Ubisoft France has posted a picture on Facebook of Rook Island (main location of Far Cry 3) accompanied by the caption “an island we never really left” … for which it seems that the publisher is about to announce new releases for the series?

With interesting timing, since there are no recurrences related to the game, recently Ubisoft has published on its Facebook page a picture of Rook Island of Far Cry 3, accompanying with the caption of “an island we never really left”.

The post has obviously sparked the imaginations of the web, since it seems legitimate to ask whether the French company has just wanted to wake up a bit of nostalgia among the fans of the game, or whether there is something in the pipeline.

Ubisoft also invites players to follow the Instagram profile of the company, using artwork taken right from Far Cry 3. According to some rumors, the company may soon announce Far Cry 3 Remastered version or a new game set on the same island of the third chapter in the series.

For the moment, however, it is only speculation and images used by the publisher that may not necessarily indicate the existence of a remastered version or a new episode of Far Cry.

Do you think that it is only a post that the company wants to re-float the memories of Far Cry 3 or should we expect some surprises? The last episode of the series, as we remind you, was called Far Cry primal, which has reshuffled the series bringing in prehistoric era.
