Tropico 6 Delayed to March
Developer Limbic Entertainment and publisher Kalypso Media have announced that the PC debut of Tropico 6 has been delayed to March 29th. The game was expected to release on January 25th.
Tropico 6 has been delayed for the second time. Originally scheduled for release on PC and consoles by the end of 2018, Kalypso Media and Limbic Entertainment then decided last August to delay the release of the title in early 2019 on PC and in the months to follow on the consoles.
After the feedback received with the beta of the game, the developers decided to delay the game’s release a couple of months, with the aim of making further improvements to production. To apologize to fans, the first DLC of Tropico 6 will be available for free for all those who pre-order the game by January 10th.
Recall that the sixth chapter of Tropico promises a turning point compared to previous games in the series, presenting itself as one of the most innovative chapters thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 4, the significant expansion of the game map and the ability to simultaneously manage the metropolis located on more islands of the same island.
Recall that Tropico 6 will release on March 29 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
