Tom Clancy's The Division Closed Multiplayer Beta

Before the release of ‘The Division’, the MMO shooter from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment, there is still a closed multiplayer beta test for this game given. Ubisoft has however not yet announced exactly when this test is going to start. According to unofficial information, probably from a retail store, the date have been set at 29 January 2016.

This appointment will now appear more credible after Ubisoft has also identified this month as the period. In the Uplay app there is hint given under The Division in the Actions pane with a new entry, which reads: “Take part in Tom Clancy’s The Division Closed Beta in January 2016.” However, only the exact date is unclear but according to previous rumors January 29, 2016 would be well suited (Friday) for a start of this closed beta.

The closed beta, as we had anticipated, will take place on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. For accessing it, you must pre-order the game. In addition, the PlayStation Store page dedicated to the game refers to “in-game purchases optional”, of which right now we do not know any details about.
