Titan Souls Demo download available for PC and Mac

The quite affable independent developers Acid Nerve and the hoarse laughing publisher Devolver Digital has just released a demo for the forthcoming action adventure game called  Titan Souls. The title has its origin in a game jam experiment and regards itself as a remake of the former prototypes – with a major overhaul in its beautiful graphics, audio and gameplay. The new demo of Titan Souls can now be downloaded from this Steam page – and also after choosing a pre-order, anyone can get upto 10% discount. Titan Souls will release on April 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PC and Mac.

Titan Souls was initially developed and designed as a joint project of Mark Foster, David Fenn and Andrew Gleeson for Ludum Dare 28 – and stood under the sign “you only get one shot” – which also describes the game mechanics. A Shot. A hit. The prototype of that time is still on the basis for the latest version and for the Titan Souls demo and thus reveal all the updates and improvements that have been incorporated over time in development.

“Titan Souls wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for the original Ludum Dare game jam, which saw your hero take down three titans with a single arrow, and gave birth to the core concept behind the entire game,” said Titan Souls composer David Fenn. And “Now that the development is complete, we thought it’d be fun to celebrate our journey by remaking this original sample of Titan Souls, replacing the bosses with their full-game counterparts that each of these initial ideas evolved into, and enhancing it with the new engine, graphics and audio.”

Titan Souls and Titan Souls: Digital Special Edition can be pre-ordered before publication on April 14 on Steam, Humble and GOG with a reduction of 10 percent. The Titan Souls: Digital Special Edition includes the original soundtrack, a digital art book and a world map – plus there is even more high resolution desktop wallpapers for the game.
