THQ Nordic announces Sine Mora EX for PS4, Xbox One, and PC
The publisher THQ Nordic has announced today Sine Mora EX, updated version of the homonymous side-scrolling space shooter game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality.
THQ Nordic has announced that during the next summer Sine Mora EX will come, an extended version of the original game set to release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (on all three platform in digital format). The game is jointly worked by Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture, whose joint efforts will allow players to have a new story mode and an arcade mode “that will provide a deep and satisfying gameplay”.
Besides its retro-futuristic universe with anthropomorphic characters and its narrative backdrop strangely worked for the genre, this elegant shoot ’em up uses a mechanical time to add tension to the fighting. The player must complete each section in due time knowing that the chronometer is dangerously damaged after each shot received but will gain seconds on the contrary according to the enemies destroyed.
Apart from the return of the main modes (story and arcade) the THQ Nordic release does not specify anything about the improvements that the suffix EX will have to justify. The game will include improved graphics as well.
The output of Sine Mora EX is scheduled for summer 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the game can be tried at PAX East in Boston scheduled for March 10 to 12, this time the developers should also publish a gameplay video and reveal the first details on the production.
