The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine DLC not releasing anytime soon

The game of the year 2015, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is expected to get a second DLC, but we must be patient to get hands on it for now.

The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine DLC

Already very dense, the world of The Witcher 3 was slightly larger with the release of the first DLC a few months ago. The Hearts of Stone DLC added several hours of gameplay under (up to 15 hours on average) and left a very good impression to the players.

CD Projekt announced not to stop there and offer a second DLC later, called Blood and Wine. It was then a matter of a new DLC furthermore even denser, offering between 20 to 30 hours of additional gameplay. If the scenario was not disclosed, it is now known that the main intrigue will take place in a new region: Toussaint.

Unfortunately, it will likely take its time patiently, since CD Projekt announced in a tweet that more information about this DLC will be revealed in the coming months.

So it seems that this additional content will take some time to come out and that it could not be released until mid 2016. Note that during this time, CD Projekt is also much involved in the development of Cyberpunk 2077, also awaited by players despite little information given on the latter.
