The King of Fighters ’99 coming to Nintendo Switch on May 25
Nintendo and SNK have announced that ACA NeoGeo version of The King of Fighters ’99 will be available on Nintendo Switch from May 25 on the eShop downloadable at a price of £6.29.
Nintendo Europe has updated its official website informing us about the upcoming games that will be on sale for Nintendo Switch and the rest of systems of the company this week, and for now we can confirm what it will be the game of the ACA NeoGeo series that will land in the eShop tomorrow on May 25: The King of Fighters ’99.
The title, a classic released by SNK back in 1999 in Japan, is heading to the new hybrid console of Nintendo; A work that marked the beginning of the NESTS episode of the King of Fighters story focusing on the new character K’ and not on Kyo Kusanagi.
This version will include all the contents of the original game with the addition of the new Striker mode, which will allow you to better plan their attacks, adding that a minimum strategic component to the title.
The games of SNK on Switch have been a great success with audiences and critics, with over 200,000 downloads in a few weeks, soon other products of ACA NeoGeo will make their appearance on the Nintendo eShop.
Throughout the day we should also know the rest of games that will land on Switch, 3DS and Wii U with the rotation of the eShop this week. For the moment, by the way, there are no game plans to the Virtual Console of Switch, something that users have been asking since last March.
