If you are a fan of Terminator and you are excited about the arrival of Terminator: Dark Fate, we have good news that will excite you much more. The Teyon studio and distributor Reef Entertainment are working together for Terminator: Resistance, an FPS based on the popular franchise.
This project is under development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As we told you, it is a first-person shooter and is designed as an experience for a player.
According to the developers, the title will tell an original story, but it will be based on the film universe of the franchise. Terminator: Resistance will release on December 3 in America, but will arrive on November 15 in Europe.
Terminator: Resistance will take you to a post-apocalyptic version of Los Angeles, approximately 30 years after Judgment Day. The title will tell more details about the war that is being fought in The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
For this reason, Skynet will try to annihilate you at all costs. In Terminator: Resistance you will star in the shoes of Jacob Rivers, a member of the resistance. He is an ordinary soldier, but he will soon discover that Skynet is in his footsteps. Below I leave you with a preview of the game:
Terminator: Resistance is officially licensed in the series, so you can face iconic enemies like the lethal T-800. Likewise, the creators designed new antagonists for this installment, which will be part of the official universe of the franchise.
You will have at your disposal a large arsenal to kill them and you can define the type of hero you want to be. For this, there will be a skill system that you can improve by completing main and secondary missions.
