Available since early February on PC via the download platform of Steam, Tales of Symphonia was expected by fans of Japanese RPGs. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco has disappointed players, since this version of the game has several technical problems that cause an overall discomfort in-game.

After a first GeDoSaTo tool by the modder called “Durante” which allowed to release the maximum resolution (originally clamped in 720p) in the game, another modder known under the pseudonym “Kaldaien” issued its own “Fix” on the space dedicated to the game on Steam, at this address.

This mod brings a number of enhancements, including the ability to push the game beyond 30fps, without dealing with jerks. Load times that were abnormally long have been fixed, along with visual problems related to menus, or crashes on some laptops with touch screens as well.

The mod also adds anti-aliasing and allows the game to run in borderless windowed mode while integrating functionality of “Durante”, especially to enjoy the game exceeding 720p definitions.
