Announced a few months ago by Bandai Namco, Tales of Berseria stands as the next game in the famous (and long) RPG saga coming to gaming consoles. After a Tales of Zestiria improved version, this new album seeks a different atmosphere and some gameplay subtleties.

The new trailer released by the Japanese publisher highlights Velvet, the heroine of this episode and its beastly arms that seems to be the theme of this adventure. To counterbalance the apparent darkness of Velvet, a small bright boy will be in the game.

The combat system will sign the legacy of the franchise with free areas of displacement, as well as with a camera it will be possible to drive at leisure. The publisher also promises the title running at 60 frames per second.

Tales of Berseria is due for release in Japan in 2016 currently on PS4 and PS3. Watch the new trailer below:

About the Game:

The theme of Tales of Berseria is emotion and reason. The game depicts the clash of emotion and reason following the protagonist Velvet, who has strong emotions, as she comes into conflict with characters who have forsaken emotion and only use reason. Particularly, the power that dwells in Velvet’s left hand as seen in today’s trailer does not only hold the key to the story, but can also be thought of as an element symbolizing Velvet’s fury.
