System Shock remake screenshots first look
Announced a few days ago, the remake of the first System Shock pane is already enjoying its first in-game images, providing a real gap with graphics rendering of the time. A comparative images is highlighted this time.
The developers of Night Dive Studios recently acquired the license of System Shock exploitation rights, which is often cited as inspiration to other series such as BioShock or Deus Ex. After proposing an improved version of the first episode on the download platform of GOG, the development studio recently announced it would look into the design of a remake.
The latter has recently been revealed through in-game images, relayed by the site Polygon. The visual rendering ofcourse has nothing to do with the title of 1994, as you can see the screenshots are totally different in comparison.
“We have been in contact with members of the original System Shock team and any future iterations of the System Shock games, and by this I mean both new titles in the series as well as major updates to the existing games, will be very true to the spirit of the originals,” Night Dive Studios’ CEO Stephen Kick told Polygon website.
The intrusive interface of the time was thought best, so as not to impede the reading experience. For now, no release date for this game has been advanced by the Night Dive Studios.
