Yesterday, during its financial report for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year, which ended in December 2017, Nvidia made mention of Switch’s success and how it has positively impacted the company’s processor business.
As you know, Switch comes to life from a Nvidia Tegra X1 processor that, while being the standard model, has responded appropriately to the needs of the hardware and, obviously, the great sales of the Nintendo console has given positive results for Nvidia. In that sense, the company reported that its Tegra processor business obtained total revenues of $450 million, registering an increase of 75% compared to last year.
