Support for Xbox One will not stop with the arrival of Project Scorpio
With Project Scorpio in door, 2017 will be a very important year for Microsoft and the Xbox hardware. The enhanced console will Will reach at the end of year and recently the head of the division, Phil Spencer, took care to clarify that the support for Xbox One and Xbox One S will not stop with the new release.
We have said on countless occasions, but 2017 is shaping up to be an important year in the history of Xbox with the launch of Project Scorpio, the console that will ensure to be the most powerful in the market. This should not worry the owners of an Xbox One or Xbox One S, since, according to Phil Spencer, head of the brand, Microsoft will continue to support these models for long time.
The director commented on this after a fan told him on Twitter which read that Scorpio would make Xbox One out of date. Faced with this, Spencer responded quickly and bluntly stating that “Xbox One and S will be supported for many years consoles.”
There are those who fear that with the arrival of Scorpio the current versions of Xbox will be left behind to become obsolete. This will definitely not happen, Spencer said.
Both the Xbox One like the Xbox One S will be supported for many years. Also let’s not forget that, as such, Scorpio is only a high-end version of the current home console so it will not even have exclusive games (compared to other hardware options of Xbox).
Is anyone here already making their save for the Scorpio or maybe they will prefer to keep their Xbox One/S? Let us know in the comment section below.
