Steam Link App Will Soon Allow To Play Steam Games on Android and iOS Devices
It has been clear for some time that Valve wants you to be able to play titles from the Steam catalog without having to be stuck to your computer. Apparently, the company is ready for this initiative to go further, since Steam Link is on its way to iOS and Android devices.
According to official information, at some point during the week of May 21, the Steam Link application for iOS and Android will arrive. Everyone who downloads it can use their mobile device to stream games from their Steam collection as long as they are connected to the same network as their computer. An interesting point is that this application will also come to Apple TV.
Best of all, Steam Link for iOS and Android will be compatible with the Steam Controller and MFI controls. Thus, everything seems to indicate that it will be a comfortable experience when used with all those titles that are compatible with these control schemes.
Finally, Valve informed that it plans to launch another similar application so that users can stretch the video content they bought on Steam. It is expected that this app will arrive before the end of the summer of this year.
