Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Remastered Collection Coming to Console – Rumor
Recently, Factor-5 said that it would be interested in a porting of Star Wars Rogue Squadron for Nintendo Switch, and today a curious indiscretion comes about it, launched by the insider Liam Robertson.
According to the report, Disney has already prepared the remastered versions of Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader and Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike for unidentified platforms, including Nintendo Switch.
It’s hard to know more now, according to Robertson’s words the development of the collection would be finished but there are no details given about the launch window and the target platforms.
Whether it will ever happen is more than questionable. Apart from the legal problems surrounding the license, the budget for such a project would also have to be procured.
For now, it’s just a plain simple rumor, so take it with a grain of salt, however, we’d really like to go back to playing with those three little jewels which are considered as one of the best video games from George Lucas’s saga. We are waiting for any confirmation from the publisher.
Disney owns a completed, ready to ship remastered collection of the Rogue Squadron games.
Wise choice there ladsπππ
