Star Ocean 5 for PlayStation 3 delayed in Japan to April 28
Square Enix has announced the delay of the PlayStation 3 version of Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness to 28 April in Japan. The PlayStation version 4 of this title is planned in Japan for March 31.
In the words of the company, the PlayStation 3 version needs extra time to adjust to the hardware of the console and, thus, improve the game’s quality. Precisely, the company showed a video comparison of the two versions yesterday. You can check that in the video shown below at the end of this article.
Square Enix has shown a comparative video versions for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 from Star Ocean: Integrity and faithlessness. The company has also shown another video focused on comparing the use of combat skills in each version of the game.
In the trailer, mainly cinematics of character with small samples of battles is presented along with the story that developed over the title. In this new version, the English voices of the characters can be heard for the first time, as well as the “Astra Nova” song of the Japanese group Androp in background.

Set between the events of the second and third games in the series, STAR OCEAN: Integrity and Faithlessness takes place centuries after humans have left Earth for the stars. At this point in history, the Pangalactic Federation is nearing the fulfilment of its mission: Peace and order throughout the galaxy. However, the embers of conflict begin to stir once more on the planet of Faykreed, 6,000 light years from Earth, as a new story begins in the ocean of stars.
