Star Fox Zero download available tomorrow on Wii U, Launch Trailer Released
Nintendo is preparing to launch the next installment in the Star Fox series, coming tomorrow April 22, 2016 on Wii U. This is an opportunity to take stock of the possibilities with this action game mixed with shoot’em up.
The series initiated in the early 90s with the legendary Starwing on Super NES, the StarFox license went back in recent years, with the exception of the release of a new edition of Star Fox 64 (also called as Lylat Wars) on Nintendo 3DS.
Due for release on 22 April 2016 in Europe, StarFox Zero marks the return of Fox McCloud and his squad to defeat Venom again the threat. The title, exclusive to the Wii U, will offer a shooter air base gameplay, but also on the ground.
Indeed, the ship of Fox, the Arwing, may be transformed in various ways, allowing different levels to approach. The launch video below also specifies the proposed diversity and the clever use of the touch screen of GamePad of the console.
An excerpt from Star Fox Guard was also highlighted, showing the principle of tower defense that will be offered. This spin-off will be marketed in hand with Star Fox Zero in the limited edition of the game, but will also be sold as digital format on the eShop of the Wii U.
