Square Enix hiring staff to make something new for NieR
NieR: Automata debuted in February this year and the title was a huge success for Square Enix. For this reason, it is not exceptional to know that the company is planning to continue with the franchise. The sales of this title exceeded the expectations of the studio that is already looking for new staff for another project in the series.
Square Enix recently opened a new recruiting page, where it added stencils, storytelling, designing non-controllable characters and creating text for multiple object description. All this related to an yet unconfirmed project of the NieR franchise.
Yoko Taro, director of the series, confirmed that he will gather new talents thanks to the support that NieR: Automata has had on PlayStation 4 and PC. Also, the developer assured that there will be several projects on the series.
For his part, Yosuke Saito, producer of NieR, talked about a large number of players interested in the expansion of this universe. For this reason, Square Enix opened this recruiting site.
Previously, Taro stated that he was interested in doing a remake of NieR, the first game of the saga. Despite this, we do not know for sure what the next titles will be about. Well, it could be a remake or a new title that continues with the plot of NieR: Automata. We will have to wait for more information to know more about it.
