Square Enix and Marvel are making The Avengers and more games
Square Enix, a company known for its work in series like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, had exciting news for its fans. The Japanese distributor and developer announced that it has reached an alliance with Marvel to develop several games, among which one is based on The Avengers.
The company did not share much details and only said that it is an “announcement of a multi-game partnership leading with The Avengers project.” Next to that message, Square Enix posted a small lead on its Twitter account.
As you can imagine, the trailer is not very revealing and only shows us that, logically, characters from The Avengers and Iron Man, Thor and Captain America will appear in this title. On the other hand, in the video it points out that Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, 2 of the most prominent distributor of Western studios, will be involved in The Avengers Project.
When there is more information on The Avengers Project we will share it, in the meantime, do tell us what do you think about the alliance between Square Enix and Marvel?
It is important to note that this is not the only news that Square Enix has shared today. The Japanese company revealed that Lord of Vermilion IV is in development. At the moment there are not many details on this project, but its official website is now available.
