Sony is Already Working on the Next-Gen of PlayStation Online Services
Sony Interactive Entertainment knows that the base of the next generation of consoles is located in the digital environment and online services and everything indicates that the division of the Japanese company is already working on this to take its offer in that area to the next level. Today, a report revealed information obtained from vacancies published by SIE in which it is reported that Sony’s electronic entertainment division is already working on the next generation of its online offer, specifically the PlayStation Now service and the environment of PlayStation Network. In this regard, the first of the vacancies indicates that the division is looking for a network engineer who will work with the team in charge of PlayStation Now and whose responsibility will be to provide users with a “robust, low latency game streaming services to PlayStation Now customers around the globe” service.
Also, the second vacancy requests a software engineer who will lead the next generation of the PlayStation Network, which will be taken to the next level to respond to the needs of its growing user base. In that sense, the job offer information indicates that the PlayStation online platform will maintain its essential elements, but will integrate new options and services.
