Skyrim Special Edition free for owners of all DLC or Legendary Edition, releasing on October 28
Through its Twitter account, Bethesda Game Studios revealed something that will delight all PC gamers: those who have Skyrim and all its DLC for PC can upgrade to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for free.
For the second consecutive year, Bethesda has organized a press conference at E3 2016. A perfect opportunity for the studio to recall some significant releases of the year 2015.
This time, the studio meets the expectations of fans by unveiling Skyrim Special Edition. Remember, Skyrim is an RPG released in 2011 on PC and gaming consoles and it is likely to be entitled for a remake on new-gen consoles.
“If you own Skyrim and all its add-ons or own Legendary Edition on Steam, you’ll get a free upgrade to Skyrim Special Edition on October 28,” said the development studio on the social network.
On the other hand, the product page of the new version of Skyrim is now available on Amazon, so we know its price on gaming consoles. According to the online store, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will cost $60 USD for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The remastering of Skyrim was announced by Bethesda in its lecture at E3 2016; this new edition will feature improved graphics, all the DLC that has come to the game and support for mods.
