Skyrim for Nintendo Switch will have content of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Bethesda took advantage of its E3 2017 conference to show us a bit more of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch. The distributor announced that the new version of the much acclaimed RPG will contain content from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

From what we saw in the advances, the owners of Skyrim for Nintendo Switch will be able to scan their amiibo figures from Zelda to get special treasure chests. In them the players will find objects like the Master Sword, Hylian Shield and Tunic of the chosen (yes, the same as Link uses in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild).

In the video, Bethesda also showed us that Skyrim will take full advantage of the hybrid features of Nintendo Switch. This means you can use it in TV mode from the dock, or disconnect it to take it anywhere in portable mode. At the moment, Bethesda has not revealed if there will be differences of performance between both modes.

Another interesting detail is that you can use the Joy-Con to play Skyrim with motion controls, this means that you can move the controls to perform actions like shoot a bow or hit with your sword. Finally, this version will include all the downloadable content available for the RPG: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.
