It all started as a rumor, but SEGA finally confirmed that it is working on a new Sonic racing game. A few months ago, at SXSW Gaming, we saw the first teaser of the project, of which we know very little.
However, everything indicates that this will change very soon, as SEGA hinted that more news of the Sonic Racing Game is on the way. The community is anxious for more news about the title, because so far it has not even revealed its name.
So everything related to it remains secret. During the mentioned event, we only knew part of the logo of the game. Although SEGA has kept the information about the racing title secret, the company will share news in the near future.
Aaron Webber, part of SEGA’s media and public relations team, recommended players to prepare, as the news will come sooner than they think.
“A lot of you have been waiting for news and information, and you’re very curious about what that title was that we teased back at South by Southwest, and at least in the near future, you might be hearing some more news and information about that. So hey, that’s coming up. Get ready. It’s on the horizon,” Webber said during a recent event.
There are those who think that the title could be revealed within the framework of E3 2018. The event will be held from June 12 to 14 at the Convention Center of Los Angeles, California, United States.
According to company statements, the new racing title could have its toy line. For the moment, SEGA has not confirmed this information.
