Samsung Gear VR Dedicated Joystick in Development?
The world of gaming is a world in which Samsung is interested more and more. Evidenced in particular including the addition of new features on its new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphone.
Other evidence – to be taken lightly – the video game is an area that the Korean giant is taking more seriously: now it would develop a controller for the Gear VR, a virtual reality headset.
That’s the rumor circulating since the publication of possible shots leaked for the controller, relayed by GSMArena. (via the Czech website SamsungMania).
The photos in question show more particularly a controller with a directional stick, four action buttons, a menu button and a Bluetooth key for the pairing to its smartphone. It also seems perfect to play games of the Oculus Store in better conditions.
Note that when you see the Oculus logo, it suggests that Samsung would again be associated with the firm of Facebook in the design of this supposed joystick (as with the Gear VR).
When not in use, it would be possible to slide the device in the Gear VR, where one usually connects the smartphone.
Of course, these are just rumors for now, to be taken lightly, as no official announcement has been made back by Samsung.
