Rocket League Surpasses 40 Million Players Worldwide
Before we celebrated the Christmas holidays, Psyonix reported that its popular car and soccer title, Rocket League, reached 38 million users. Well, in a matter of days and after a period of celebration, another 2 million players joined the multiplayer experience.
A few hours ago, the official account of Rocket League on Twitter revealed that there are already 40 million users who have been present in the various games that are held daily on different platforms such as PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
The Twitter account took advantage of the achievement to thank the fans for the support provided and their preference, which has led to this title, born on the independent scene, to be one of the most popular games worldwide.
Recently the title of Psyonix ended its winter event and Switch fans are preparing to receive a physical version of the game, the Collector’s Edition, which will arrive on January 16 and will include 7 packages of downloadable content.
In all this time the popularity of the game has not stopped increasing and in the coming months, we will discover that more surprises from Psyonix have in preparation to overcome, at least, 50 million, which at this rate would not be surprising that it will get sooner or later.
Rocket League is now available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
