Rise of the Tomb Raider video shows different display modes on PlayStation 4 Pro

Square Enix has distributed a new trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration to tell us about all the improvements we can enjoy if we would like to play the last adventure of Lara Croft on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will give us to choose between three different display configurations on PlayStation 4 Pro, the most powerful version of the current console of Sony. Among those, the game which will enjoy three unique modes of display on the console are 4K Resolution, High Frame Rate, and Enriched Visuals.

“With the additional power of PlayStation 4 Pro we were able to add graphical enhancements such as improved reflexes, more dynamic foliage and a detailed tessellation,” the company said in a statement.

The first allows us to play at 4K and 30 frames per second, the second will lower the resolution to 1080p to allow us to enjoy the title at 60 fps and the last mode is limited to 1080p and 30 fps, but in return adds all kinds of graphical improvements, such as anisotropic filtering, dynamic vegetation and additional hardware tessellation through, among others.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes various additional content, such as Blood Ties, Lara’s Nightmare and PlayStation VR mode, plus all expansions and downloadable content released to date.
