After having already surfaced over Christmas rumors that Rise of the Tomb Raider could be offered in a bundled with Nvidia graphics cards, there is now another clue. Accordingly Nvidia sets in for the action-adventure with its Geforce GTX 970, 980, 980Ti and some mobile chips bundle. That is apparent from an official e-mail probably.

Previously it was assumed that the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider, as once the predecessor, is part of AMD Gaming Evolved program scheme that comes in the market. Now, however, the notes condense on bundles with Nvidia graphics cards. If there last only rough rumors from South Korean market, it now has a supposedly official email self-managed by Nvidia to the public.

It states that various Nvidia graphics cards ascribes a voucher for the new Lara Croft adventure. Specifically, it is the Geforce GTX 970, Geforce GTX 980, the GTX 980 Ti and the notebook graphics card of Geforce GTX 970M, GTX 980M and GTX 980. Apparently the action starts already on 7th January 2016 shortly.

Whether the title contains any GameWorks features, it is not clear from the message. Officially announced or not, the developers had nothing to say in this case. In addition, the TressFX 3.0 title takes advantage of AMD’s current software from a range of features. Whether still adding more willing racks of AMD elements in the PC version, or that was only originally planned, so far neither Square Enix nor Crystal Dynamics have communicated.

If Square Enix, who cooperated in recent years closely with AMD, is future binding to Nvidia then it would become stronger, and it would be a further setback for the beleaguered poor AMD GPU. After the past few months especially the GameWorks titles had appeared, it looked at least for 2016 that games would be involved again more in Gaming Evolved title and above.
