New series of Tomb Raider is announced and will be hitting PC & PS4 next year. This new series is called Rise of the Tomb Raider. There were some leaks about the game character Lara Croft before also. She is revamped with a new look. There were also some screenshots that showed this game would be more adventurous this time. Finally, this game is announced for PC and PS4. A final release date of the game is not yet cleared. There was some news recently that showed that the game might appear on November 10, 2015 for Xbox One first and then it will release on other platform. The game will be releasing next year most probably. On YouTube you can still find a few videos that were showed up in E3 2015.
The videos gives a glimpse of this upcoming game, but does not really tell much about it. Tomb Raider is a popular series and after a regular time interval a new version is out. It has done very well in past. The developer is working on Xbox One edition that might offer players 1080p resolution. But it is not yet confirmed. So there might be a lot of similar rumors on the web. The new version looks pretty impressive with better gameplay. It would be challenging for the developers to think uniquely for the Tomb Raider Series.
