Resident Evil Revelations 2 for Nintendo Switch File Size is 26GB, MicroSD required to play
Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2 are on their way to the Nintendo Switch, scheduled for November 28, but you may need an additional memory card of a considerable size if you want the two digital versions.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 for Nintendo Switch will require a MicroSD card for installation. This is what we have learned from the Japanese site of Capcom, through which we find that the game will weigh 26GB.
The free space on Nintendo Switch is 25.9 GB, size occupied by the operating system only and pre-installed apps, so playing Resident Evil Revelations 2 will require an external memory card.
Both games will be available in digital format, but only the first will be available in physical format, in an edition that includes a code to download the digital version of the second. If you want the digital version of both games, you’ll need 39GB of space, which means the need for a MicroSD card.
By purchasing the retail edition of the game we will only find the first episode on the disk while the other four (and the bonus content) will be downloaded from Nintendo eShop. Resident Evil Revelations 1 will weigh 13 GB, as it also includes DLC and extra content.
Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 for Nintendo Switch will be available in a single package from November 28 or can be purchased separately in digital format at a price of $19.99 dollars each.
