Resident Evil 2 ‘The Ghost Survivors’ Update Available on February 15
If you took advantage of the weekend to finish Resident Evil 2, take into account that the remake will have additional content that will give a little more replayability. Capcom today confirmed the release date of The Ghost Survivors, one of the new modes for the title.
Resident Evil 2 will receive its first major update in a few weeks. The update will include the mentioned game mode for free. This will happen on February 15 on all platforms.
As we discussed earlier, The Ghost Survivors will allow you to play with new characters, such as Robert Kendo and Katherine Warren. According to Capcom, the mode will also let fans know more stories related to Raccoon City.
“The Ghost Survivors” allows players to explore the “what if” stories of three unfortunate souls who never made it out of Raccoon City: the gunshop owner, the mayor’s daughter, and the soldier. Their stories are titled “No Time to Mourn,” “Runaway, and “Forgotten Soldier,” Capcom stated in its official announcement.
Capcom is also preparing retro outfits for Leon and Claire. The outfits will be offered first in Japan as an incentive to buy prepaid cards for the PlayStation Store. It is expected that on March 22 it will be released as free content for all.
Resident Evil 2 is shaping up to be one of the most important releases of the year, since it debuted in the first place of sales in the United Kingdom and is expected to happen the same in other important regions.
Resident Evil 2 is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
