Remedy’s Project 7 Could Be An Online Game Like Destiny – Rumor
We know that Remedy Entertainment is working on a new project known under the codename of Project 7 (P7) and a recent job posting seems to reveal some details on this mysterious title. On the official website of the studio, in the “Careers” section, you can understand that the software house is looking for new staff.
The project Remedy Entertainment is working on is known as the Project 7 (as it will be the seventh game of the developer), and the studio intends to hire a game designer whose knowledge and experience is focused on online systems. Reading the statement, it seems that the main reference of this project is similar to Destiny, as you can judge from the statement below:
“Are you constantly thinking about intriguing ways to excite your players and keep them invested in your game’s world? Are you obsessed with lore and a desire to create rich content that communities will devour? Do you design challenge systems that are so moreish your players plan their week around them? Have you already designed the next Battle Royale? Are you always among the first to find Xûr?”
Another detail about “P7” is that it will use the same graphical engine seen in Quantum Break. Again, this will be a multiplatform title, which will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As it is easy to assume, there is not yet a release date, but presumably, the studio will work on the title in 2018.
Remedy Entertainment seems to be willing to make its debut in the world of multiplayer games after developing story-focused productions such as Alan Wake and Quantum Break. Project 7 will be published by 505 Games, recently Sam Lake has visited the same studio to show off “P7”. Now we are waiting for the official reveal of this mysterious project.
