This news was shared in the Inside Xbox chapter of gamescom 2019. It revealed that the cross-play of PUBG will be between the version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. In this way, you can enjoy the Battle Royale title with your friends even if they play on a different console.
At the moment, PUBG Corp. has not given many details about how cross-play will work in PUBG for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
