PSN is going to be under maintenance on August 17/18 2015. This will be different on the basis of your region. It was recently announced by Sony. The maintenance would let people to get a more stable and better output for the users. And it will be resorted back as soon as possible. Here Sony has not cleared what new things the maintenance is going to bring. The maintenance would be around 1.5 hours long. And it will start on August 17 at 9:30pm PT – 11pm PT. The second time scheduled for the same is August 18 around 12:30am ET – 2am ET or 4:30am BST – 6am BST. So in case if you find the network down then you have to simply wait back until the maintenance is over.
At the time of maintenance Sony has also mentioned that users will be able to login on their account and will be able to access all the applications. After the maintenance is done it would deliver a lot better output to the users. There are a lot of impressive games coming up on PlayStation. And this would help users to get smoother output.
