PS4 Sells More Than 30 million Units in the US, Making 30% of Total Console Sales
It is not a secret to anyone that PS4 has been a success in sales. Proof of this is that Sony has already sold more than 100 million units of its console worldwide. While it is true that the system is in the last phase of its life cycle, its sales are still strong.
Daniel Ahmad, a leading industry analyst and member of Niko Partners, revealed some interesting figures about PS4 sales from his Twitter account. According to the information, the console achieved an important sales record in the United States.
The analyst said that PS4 has already sold more than 30 million units in the United States. The figure is quite relevant, as it represents 30% of total console sales.
Ahmad also spoke briefly about other important markets for the Sony console. For example, in Japan, it already sold 8.3 million consoles, while in Germany it exceeded 7.2 million units. Another important market is the United Kingdom, where 6.8 million consoles have been sold.
PlayStation 4 sell through in the US has now surpassed 30 million, with the market accounting for approximately 30% of total PS4 sales.

PlayStation 4 stands out as it reached 100 million consoles sold faster than PlayStation 2 and Wii, some of the best-selling consoles in history. It is estimated that the current Sony console will close its life cycle with even more sales.
