Project CARS 2 is a sequel, and not just an update

As you know, Project Cars 2 was officially announced by Slightly Mad Studios a few weeks ago. Some fans of the original chapter, however, have questioned whether it was not a big expansion of the first iteration, rather than a true sequel.

Andy Tudor, creative director of the driving simulator, is then stepped in to try to reassure the players of what they can expect from this new project. Project Cars 2 can be defined as a sequel in effect? This is the statement of Tudor: “Yeah, absolutely, it’s not Project CARS 2017, and there will not be a Project CARS 2018, it’s not a sports franchise iterative sequel – it’s just as ambitious as the first title.”

In Project Cars 2, players will have access to 170 cars, 60 tracks, an Online Championship mode and multiple types of races (on ice, dirt, snow, and mud racing).

The title is expected on PC, PS4 and Xbox One during the second half of 2017 and recently new images have been leaked of the game, while at then end of this news you can take a look at seven minutes of its gameplay video.

The sequence of gameplay, captured with the internal view of the passenger compartment, allows us to get an idea about the state of the new racing game of Slightly Mad Studios, a sequel that promises to perfect the formula of the game of the original chapter, enriching it with the dynamic system of weather, a more advanced technical sector and a significant career mode.

Recall that Project CARS 2 will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in this year.
