Pokémon Go download now available on Android devices

If you were not selected to participate in the closed beta of Pokémon Go, you do not need to worry, because the game is now available for download from the Google Play store.

One of the most anticipated games for mobile phones of the year, Pokémon GO is now finally available for download to Android devices in some countries.

In addition, the iPhone version is also debuting worldwide, as Pokémon Go is now available in Austria and New Zealand; for now, no information of the release of the game in other countries is given, but it is surely only a matter of time before it becomes available.

As you remember, Pokémon Go is an augmented reality game that will be free, but will have microtransactions. The game, developed by Niantic in partnership with Pokémon Company, allows users to explore a version of the real world in which little monsters are hidden everywhere.

If you want to catch some Pokémon without unlocking your phone, you’ll need to purchase a separate accessory for $34.99 USD. This device vibrates when a Pokémon is near and you must push a button so you can catch him.

According to Google Play, Pokemon Go weighs 58Mb and have microtransactions ranging from $0.99 to $99.99 USD. You can download Pokemon Go for Android at this link.
