Everything we know about Armored Mewtwo:
Armored Mewtwo appeared for the first time in Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back, the first film of the series. Created by scientists in charge of Team Rocket, Mewtwo is a clone of the legendary Pokémon Mew. Mewtwo kills scientists when he realizes that they consider him a project and not a being with the ability to feel.
In the middle of the ruins of the laboratory, Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket, approaches Mewtwo and offers his help to master its powers. After accepting, Mewtwo uses an armor that helps it control its powerful abilities.
For a while, Mewtwo is responsible for doing the dirty work of Team Rocket, until it finds out that Giovanni considers it basically a living weapon. Annoyed, Mewtwo destroys the armor and returns to the island where it was created, seeking revenge on humanity.
This version of Armored Mewtwo, nevertheless, is one of the remakes in CGI, Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution, that will be released in Japan on July 12th, 2019 and in Europe November 17th, 2019.
