PlayStation VR to make India debut at IGX on Oct 15 and 16, 2016 at World Trade Centre, Mumbai
For the first time in India, gamers will have the opportunity to experience PlayStation VR (PS VR), a virtual reality system that takes the PlayStation 4 (PS4) system to the next level of immersion, at IGX – India’s largest consumer games expo.The 2016 edition will take place in Mumbai on October 15 and 16 at the World Trade Centre.
Visitors at IGX will be able to try the latest in virtual reality gaming at the Sony PlayStation booth at IGX, alongside hit PS4 games like No Man’s Sky, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and FIFA 17.
IGX – in its second year – is India’s premier gaming destination for consumers, where gamers can experience the best in gaming technologies across console, PC and mobile platforms, as well as the latest blockbuster games.
This year’s games line-up also includes blockbuster titles such as WWE 2K17, Mafia III, NBA 2K17, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4, FIFA 17, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, No Man’s Sky, NBA 2K17, and more.
IGX is also home to IGX Game Face, India’s largest gaming cosplay competition. This year, the two-day competition will boast a combined cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
This year, IGX will also showcase some of the best games created by Indian independent developers. Presented and curated by IVG, the Made in India booth powered by ASUS will feature Asura (Ogre Head Studios), Zenith (Holy Cow Productions), Dodgefall (Roosh Interactive), and more.
