PlayStation Trophies Will Now Earn You PSN Credit
Many players have wished that, for some reason, our great performance in a video game is rewarded in the form of something that allows us to acquire more titles. Well, at least for the players of a country this will come true as Sony announced a major change to its Sony Rewards program.
Sony announced that its rewards program, Sony Rewards, will recognize the great performance of PlayStation players as they can use their trophies to acquire new titles. The new variant of the Sony Rewards program will take into account the Silver, Gold and Platinum trophies through a system of points that will be converted into credit to purchase content on the PlayStation Store. To give us an idea, the point system will work as follows:
100 Silver trophies – 100 points
25 Gold trophies – 250 points
10 Platinum trophies – 1000 points
1000 points are equivalent, under the new Sony Rewards scheme, to $10 USD of credit to be used on the PlayStation Store. The bad news is that, for the moment, this variant of the Sony rewards program is only available in the United States.
Would you like this program to arrive in your country? How many points would you have today? Let us know in the comments below.
