According to information shared through an official statement, Sony will lower the price of PlayStation 4 Slim for a limited time. For a period of almost 2 weeks, the suggested price for 2 of the main PlayStation 4 bundles will be available at $250 USD.
Sony has announced it will lower the price of PlayStation 4 Slim for a limited time during the month of February. It is unknown if after this promotion, Sony has plans to reduce the price of this console permanently.
The company revealed that the bundles of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available at a discounted price from February 12 to 25 of the same month, in its version of 500GB. Note that the package with Call of Duty, also includes a download code for Modern Warfare Remastered.
Interestingly, Sony did not explain what is the reason for this momentary cut in the price of its current generation console, although in the last financial report the company had reported that PlayStation 4 Slim was not selling as well as the other editions of the console.
So far, $250 USD is the lowest price that PlayStation 4 has ever received, an offer that had already been used during Black Friday; however, it is important to mention that this promotion is exclusive to the United States, we have no information that the rebate will affect prices in video game stores of other regions.
