Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds creator talks about his next game
Branden Greene, the creator of the amazing Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, recently released an interview with Game Informer in the September issue, where he started talking about the next project being worked on. His purpose, as is easily perceived, remains to carry out a work that can confirm the success and the involvement of his famous title of Battle Royale.
Brendan Greene, a former developer, who is currently working on the successful title of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, has told in an interview about his future plans. He already has some ideas for the first time after PUBG.
“I’ve wanted to make a survival game. I mean, I love DayZ and I love DayZ standalone, but I have my own idea for a survival game, and I just want to make a game I want to play,” Greene told Game Informer in the September issue. It’s why I started with battle royale. I’m hoping my next is a game that other people will want to play as well. You know, because of the success for this one, no pressure for it to be a success or anything,” said Branden Greene.
He has explained with regard to PUBG that the title is not left after the release. The game is much more than a kind of service that would be steadily improved over the next five to ten years. The players may, therefore, expect long-term support from Bluehole Studio. For the time being, new maps will be integrated, such as a drought desert landscape.
Curiously, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds creator had previously told his gaming preferences, confessing that he had never played titles of great historical importance like Zelda.
Moreover, Greene himself would not be a player in the strict sense of the term, given that he preferred to concentrate only on the genres involved, just like the military shooters and survival that inspired him in the realization of his projects.
Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds has recently become the most popular game on Steam after DOTA 2.
