After spending a few months on the market, Battleborn seems to have been forgotten for many players. However, fans of the FPS have not yet given up, and now they have created a new strategy to revive the game.
Recently, a Reddit user named bkndx proposed to celebrate the Battleborn day on 12 November. In the short term, the goal is to enjoy the game without much trouble but, ultimately, the goal is to invite new players and maintain a healthy amount of users.
Although this is not the first time that the community of Battleborn has a similar idea, for some reason in this case even the creative director Randy Varnell joined the proposal. “You do something on this date on your side, and I’ll see if I can do something from my side to sweeten the deal,” said the developer.
Apparently, Varnell fulfills his promise. Gearbox has announced that November 12 will add a playlist to boost multiplayer community for the event. Currently, the game can be purchased in many shops at reduced price and will soon receive a new hero.
In similar news, 2K Games and the responsible developers of Gearbox software have now published for all Battleborn players the 29th Hero, Kid Ultra. The arrival of the new hero was celebrated by the developers now with a double XP weekend.
