0

Starting today and throughout the weekend, Rocket League is free on Steam: interested parties can download the game at no cost and play freely and without restrictions up to 22:00 CET on Sunday, May 7.

You probably have not given Rocket League a chance yet. To do so without any risk or compromise, Psyonix will let you play it for free this weekend on Steam.

To access the free trial of Rocket League it is necessary that you have a Steam account and their client installed on your computer. When that’s ready, just visit your product page and press the “Play” button.

The free download is available now from Steam, once the trial period is over you will need to purchase the game, up to May 8 Rocket League is in promotion at the price of EUR 13.99 instead of 19.99 euros, with a discount of 30% on the price order.

Currently the free weekend of Rocket League is active only on PC and we do not know if in the coming hours the free access will also be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Psyonix has launched Rocket League in mid-2015, and to date it has more than 30 million registered users. With this success it is easy to see why the studio had plans to launch a free-to-play version to conquer Chinese players.
