Mods around Doom are many, but some projects are worth to look at. This is particularly the case of Brutal Doom 64 or GoldenEye 007 TC which shows much promise. The last mod to monitor entitled GZ3Doom allows to enjoy the first two FPS franchise in virtual reality headset.

Doom and Doom 2 are perhaps one of the most popular shooters in the 90s. Their iconic designs have stood the test of time and even now, some gamers play them periodically. Through the efforts of modders GZDoom, who ported the shooter on Oculus Rift, users can now shoot monsters in virtual reality.

Directed by Daniel Hindes, this mod allows using the Oculus Rift to (re) discover the levels of two titles of id Software. The new patch lets us to enjoy this mod with the final version of virtual reality headset.

Also, the modder has specified that this update no longer allows the use of the Oculus Rift DK1 and invites owners of the milling equipment to refrain from the application of the patch. As demonstrated in the video below, some small adjustments are still required, including the empty space under the gun.

To take advantage, simply download the mod on ModDB and follow the installation instructions given at this address.
