Overwatch 4K Update Download Available on Xbox One X
After a couple of months, the expected moment arrived for all the Overwatch fans who would like to play the title on Xbox One X: players can now play the Blizzard FPS in 4K! This is possible because the support for the new Microsoft console was added in the latest game patch.
Through a posting on the Battle.net forums, Blizzard confirmed that the patch that arrived for Overwatch adds 4K support of Xbox One X. At the moment, the company has not given more details about the patch but is expected to keep a rate of 60 frames per second and those present improvements in the textures.
In addition, the most recent Overwatch patch also makes Mercy the nerf that arrived some time ago to the test servers. This means that Resurrection will not be instantly recharged when the new Mercy Ultimate is activated. In addition, it reduces the duration of Valkyrie by 5 seconds and halves the speed boost received by Guardian Angel.
“Mercy’s recent Resurrect changes have helped in allowing enemies to have more counter play in dealing with her, but she was able to use Resurrect through Valkyrie enough to largely mitigate the impact of the previous changes. Additionally, we’re toning back the amount of mobility Valkyrie provides through Guardian Angel and reducing its duration to overall reduce the power of this ability,” Blizzard said.
On the other hand, Blizzard also reduced the damage that the Junkrat mine causes to players who are far from the explosion. With this, the company hopes to force its users to be more precise to eliminate their enemies with this power.
