Suda 51: No More Heroes 1 & 2 Remasters for PS4 Announcement Coming Soon
The No More Heroes series is regularly associated with Nintendo consoles, as the first installments of the franchise debuted for Wii. However, the launch of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes for PlayStation 4 and PC is approaching, a game that was released as a temporary exclusive to Switch.
Given this, the community wonders if there is the possibility of seeing the first installments of the series on other current platforms, such as PlayStation 4. In a recent interview with Dengeki Online, Goichi Suda, in charge of the series, gave hope to the players.
According to the creative, Grasshopper Manufacture and Marvelous are currently in talks to launch remasters of No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle on PS4. In fact, Suda 51 revealed that negotiations are on track, so “soon” they could announce something about it.
No More Heroes was released for Wii in 2007, while No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle also released on the Nintendo console in 2010. Also, Suda and his team worked on No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise, an updated version of the first title of PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There was also a version called No More Heroes: Red Zone, which debuted uncensored for PlayStation 3.
So, the series has not been released to other platforms than Nintendo for many years. The first step for this to change will be Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition, which will arrive with all its content on PS4.
Likewise, Suda confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of that installment will have exclusive content, such as some collaboration with other games. Also, remember that No More Heroes 3 is already on its way, but it was announced only for Switch.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is available now for Nintendo Switch.
