Nioh: Complete Edition coming to PC on November 7th, System Requirements announced

Nioh debuted last February as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Faced with the great success of the game, Koei Tecmo decided to launch it on a new platform. If you stayed with the desire to enjoy this action title, you will be glad to know that it is on the way to PC, via Steam thanks to Nioh: Complete Edition, a version of the game that had already been confirmed for Japan.

The company shared the news today with a press release. In it the company specified that this version of Nioh will have 4K support and will include all the DLC of its history, that is to say, Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor and Bloodshed’s End. Also, Koei Tecmo confirmed that the title will debut on 7th November.

Fumihiko Yasuda, director of the game, shared a special message and explained why they will launch this Complete Edition: “Team Ninja is well aware of the fact that many gamers have been passionately asking for a PC version of Nioh. I am thrilled to announce that this massocore game will finally be available for our die-hard PC fans in Nioh: Complete Edition! I hope you all enjoy the unforgettable drama and deeply challenging Yokai battles this action-packed experience has to offer.”

This version of the title will have 2 visual modes. The action mode will guarantee stable 60 fps, while movie mode will allow you to play the game in 4K. To celebrate this launch, Koei Tecmo will offer a special helmet called Dharmachakra Kabuto to all Steam users who will purchase the title.

“The Wheel of Dharma kabuto is a form of “kawari-kabuto”—a family of helmets featuring fantastical designs. This helmet features a red-lacquered front crest of an ancient Buddhist symbol depicting the eightfold path to nirvana. This holy image represents spiritual enlightenment attained by casting off one’s worldly desires, and also holds the power to banish evil. However, some claim this is not a Wheel of Dharma at all, merely a replica that looks as though it belongs on a device to regulate steam… Some have gone so far as to suggest renaming it to “Valve Kabuto,” but why anyone would make a helmet featuring a valve is unclear…,” the description reads.

Nioh already distributed more than 1 million copies on PlayStation 4, reason why its success will undoubtedly increase more with its arrival on PC.
