Nintendo: We have not shown everything about Nintendo Switch yet
In the middle of the week we finally saw what Nintendo prepared in its next line of console: Nintendo Switch. That said, it seems that the company still has some surprises up to its sleeve that will be revealed soon.
According to information from The Wall Street Journal, a spokesman for Nintendo said that they have not shown everything about Nintendo Switch. He also confirmed that we will have to wait a bit for more details, as these will be revealed until next year.
At the moment, all we know is that Nintendo Switch – as indicated by rumors for some time – will be a console with removable controllers, cartridges and you can play it anywhere. That said, we still do not know what titles will come to it, or if its hardware has a feature on which they have not spoken.
As per this statement, several rumors a few days ago indicated that Nintendo will reveal the price and technical specifications of Nintendo Switch in 2017. So, if we consider that Switch is scheduled to debut before the end of March, it is practically a fact that we will see more details of the console in January or February.
Also, Nintendo has confirmed that this console will not be backwards compatible with games for Wii U and 3DS in physical format, but yes it will support amiibo and Unreal Engine 4. That said, the company has not said whether the display of this home console with hybrid features will have touchscreen or not.
