Nintendo Switch size comparison with 3DS XL, Wii U GamePad, Smartphone and PS Vita
Polygon has published a series of photos that compares Nintendo Switch with Ninendo 3DS XL, PlayStation Vita and the Wii U GamePad.
During yesterday the journalists around the world were able to get their hands on the Switch for first time, the new creation by Nintendo. The hardware is characterized by a hybrid nature and can therefore carry out both the functions of a home console and those of a portable console.
But the size of the Nintendo Switch was not revealed, that actually contains the heart of the console, which also allows mobile usage? Below we present the comparative images published by Polygon to get an idea for yourself.
Compared to Wii U GamePad, the dimensions appear overall reduced (despite the greater size of the screen), as well as the thickness. Also the quality of materials looks better and the finishes are more maintained than in the past. Also interesting is the comparison with the 3DS XL, in particular the thickness of the two console looks very similar.
Finally, in the Tweet you can see a photo comparing the size of the Switch (located inside the Dock) with an iPhone 6. Recall that Nintendo Switch will be available in Europe from March 3, 2017 at a price of of $299.99 USD and 329.99 euro. At launch, the online service will be free but will become paid from autumn 2017, the console also will not be region locked.
